Brick street was assigned as the contractor through American home shield. They initially scheduled an appointment and came out promptly. The tech said that my faucet needed to be replaced and that it wouldn’t take long to order and get back in (I should’ve asked what “not long” meant). A month later and my faucet is still not replaced. I’ve called AHS SEVERAL times over the past month. I was finally able to get a scheduled time for my faucet to be replaced. The appointment was confirmed and everything. On the day/morning of they confirmed again. However, no one ever showed...no text message, phone call or anything letting me know that they weren’t coming. Of course I called brick street (during their business hours) to see what happened and they did not pick up, nor have they returned my calls. I’m about to take a loss with my deductible and have my handyman fix it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! Stay away!
This contractor was assigned by American Home Shield and what a disaster they are. After two full weeks of NOT being contacted, we finally received an appointment after a couple complaints.....to which they DIDN'T SHOW on the time THEY gave us. I called the home warranty to have a new contractor assigned, Brick Street called back to "reschedule" and didn't show for that appointment either.......Then, they called AFTER they'd missed their appointment to tell us that the contractor didn't have the right equipment on his truck........for an issue they hadn't even looked at yet. Hey Brick Street.....at least look at the problem before you can make the assessment that you don't have the right equipment. That at least shows a little bit of integrity. The only thing I hate worse than someone wasting my time is when they LIE about why they wasted my time. Don't bother trying to call them back, once they see your number show up as a missed appointment, they just block or ignore your phone. I wish I could give an assessment of their work quality but it has been 22 days since they were assigned to this job and I have yet to see a single person show any ounce of concern for actually doing the job they've been paid to do. My advice is to STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.......Pay more for someone willing to treat your time with a shred of respect and concern.
Similar to another review, we have been without hot water for 3 weeks. If I called and left a voicemail, it would not be returned. When I was able to speak with a someone I was told something different everytime. One lady told me they were ordering a part that could take 10 business days so I wait a week only to be told they have no information on a part being ordered. So, they schedule for someone to come out in about a week to look into the problem who doesnt show. When I call they say they have no information of an appointment being scheduled. I had to fight for someone to come out and look at the property that day because at that point it had been 2 weeks with them doing nothing but giving me the run around. Once the guy came out he said he couldn't fix it, we'd have to go through warranty.
Ray the contractor from brick Street plumbing was very professional, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to ensure my water heater was installed correctly and efficiently. Ray explained everything and put my family as ease with all the water leakage n my basement. Great guy and took his job seriously. Thanks Ray
Brick Street Plumbing was hired through American Home Shield to repair a leak on April 28, 2021. As of May 21, the leak is not fix, the correct part still hasn't been ordered. No wonder Brick Street Plumbing barely has 2 stars. Communication has been the issue since they accepted the job. The technician was good but process for ordering parts is poor.
